STILTON PLAYGROUND PROJECT

For over two years the Parish Council has worked towards building a playground for the under-12’s in Stilton, with much enthusiasm and support from children and residents.  In 2020 we were awarded a grant from Cambridgeshire’s Communities Capital Fund so we now have approximately £60,000 for our playground equipment.

The Parish Council recently decided that the new play ground should be located at the Pavilion playing field and are busy designing the site!  We have a Play Park plan to let you know exactly where we are regarding decision making and construction – please find it below … and keep checking back as it is updated often😊

There are many reports below that detail the decision making process to this stage.  Also below, you can access the Parish Council’s Green Space Strategy which aims to make better use of our green spaces for the benefit of all villagers.
