Proposed 20mph Zone – Consultation Open

The consultation for Stilton’s 20mph zone is now open.  

Dear Recipient

Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under all relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be to:

Implement a 20mph zone in the village of Stilton – starting/ending on:
• North Street, at a point 5.5m north of its junction with Roman Way
• High Street, at a point 318m south of its junction with Church Close
• Caldecote Road, at a point 33m west of its junction with St Mary’s Road

A plan showing the location and extent of the proposed has been enclosed for your information and the draft Order, together with a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined online at the following address http://bit.ly/cambridgeshiretro
